PDR steps into 2017 with three GOOD DESIGN winners

By: Lucinda Dargavel Date: 06/01/2017

Founded in Chicago in 1950, GOOD DESIGN™ remains the oldest, most prestigious, and most recognised program for design excellence worldwide. The GOOD DESIGN Logo is the world's most recognised public certification for consumer design excellence and is used by the world's foremost corporations, manufacturers, and designers to identify a product's design merit.

2016 marked the most significant year for GOOD DESIGN to date with the world’s critical mass of FORTUNE 500 companies and leading design firms worldwide participating. Several thousand submissions were received by the Museum from over 55 countries- all striving to receive this much-coveted seal of excellence

The emphasis of the GOOD DESIGN program is on quality design of the highest form and function, and aesthetics of a standard beyond ordinary consumer products and graphics.

In October, the 66th GOOD DESIGN jury met in both New York and Los Angeles and PDR is proud to announce that three of our entries have received a GOOD DESIGN Award.

The Adtec Cold Plasma Unit, Timesco Callisto and Acticheck Assure have all achieved this world-renowned accolade and will now proudly carry the Logo.

On receiving the notification our Director, Jarred Evans, said, “This is an exciting start to the new year for PDR. Adding three more international design awards to our current tally, of over twenty in the last ten years, demonstrates our consistent performance and our continuous desire to create products of the highest quality.”
